Ahstanga Vinyasa flow.
This class follows the traditional Ashtanga sequence with some modifications and additions. In this practice we learn to develop our ability to stay focused and breath centered through even the most challenging posture (asana). This class is suited to everyone as the practice is builds based on individual’s strength and breath. This sequence builds and allows your breath to become the focus of your movement and meditation; allowing for ease of freedom with continued practice.
A gentle class to reduce physical & emotional effects of stress. Practice supported yoga poses using blankets, blocks and straps, that open the body, while slowing down the racing mind. The result is relaxation, greater mental clarity, improved alignment and physical freedom. This class is open to all levels and could be really useful for athletes.
Our Vinyasa classes are alignment oriented flow, moving, from asana (posture) to asana Each week the sequence changes for this class depending on what part of the body we are focusing on or what the purpose of the class is.
This class is suitable to everyone but we encourage your breath to move you through out the sequence and not your will to push you through. Modifications and detailed information accompanies each sequenced movement.
Yogic relaxation (sleep), a practice of releasing tension, stress to allow rejuvenation and restoration in your body, mind and breath. In this class we use props, blankets and pillows to create a comfortable surrounding to relax while the teacher takes us through a guided map of the body.
